Privacy Policy

We collect information you provide directly: name, email address, and payment information when you subscribe. We also collect usage data automatically: pages visited, picks submitted, votes cast, and interaction patterns. If you connect a referral code, we record that relationship. We do not collect information about your actual sports wagers placed through third-party sportsbooks.

We use your information to: operate and improve the Platform; process subscription payments via Stripe; calculate your meritocratic vote weight and leaderboard standing; send transactional emails (pick alerts, voting reminders, billing receipts); and analyze platform performance. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Picks you submit and votes you cast are stored and used to calculate your global win rate, vote multiplier, and leaderboard ranking. Your display name and performance stats are visible to other platform members. Your email address is never displayed publicly.

Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. DudeWins does not store your credit card number, CVV, or full payment details. We receive and store a Stripe customer ID and subscription status only. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment data.

We use cookies to maintain your session and remember your preferences. We use PostHog for product analytics — tracking feature usage and navigation patterns in aggregate. We use Sentry for error tracking. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but some Platform features may not function correctly as a result.

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with: Stripe (payment processing), Supabase (database hosting), Vercel (platform hosting), Resend (transactional email), PostHog (analytics), and Sentry (error tracking). Each of these providers processes data only as necessary to deliver their services and is bound by their own privacy policies.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for fraud prevention. Pick and vote records may be retained in anonymized form for platform analytics.

You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your account and data; and opt out of non-essential communications. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@dudewins.com. We will respond within 30 days.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
